Roxette is a Swedish pop duo, consisting of Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle. They had huge worldwide success, espcially from the late 80s until the mid 90s. They achieved four US #1 singles "The Look", "Listen To Your Heart", "It Must Have Been Love" and "Joyride". Two further singles "Dangerous" and "Fading like a flower" peaked at number 2. Roxette's popularity and success was even bigger in other territories such as Europe, Australia or South America, where they continued to collect Gold and Platinum awards until the beginning of the new millenium. They have sold an estimated 45 million albums and 25 million singles worldwide, with over 2.7 million albums sales in the United States. Roxette's songs continue to receive radio airplay.
